Technical & Quantitative Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical & Quantitative Analyst to join our dynamic team at Thien Viet Securities (TVS). As a Technical & Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for assigned subjects and businesses. Your role will involve providing recommendations on investment opportunities to our clients based on the technical analysis and quantitative model.

Responsibilities:

• Technical analysis:
  • Assess on the trend of stock market and derivative market and provide comments on the stock market based based on technical analysis on the TVS daily report
  • Provide investment opportunities and trading strategies for clients based on TA indicators
  • Develop and implement plans to improve technical analysis expertise for investment consultants and analysts
  • Participating in presentations to clients, interviews and commentary (if needed)
• Quantitative analysis:
  • Provide investment opportunities and portfolios based on quantitative models
  • Build quantitative models applicable for the Vietnam’s stock market
  • Participating in presentations to clients, interviews and market commentary (if needed)
• Take on additional responsibilities as requested by the Head of Research

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in technical & quantitative analysis
• Graduated from a college with a degree specializing in finance, banking, economics, investments
• Proficient in at least 01 programming language (R, Python, etc.)
• Candidates with CMT qualifications or experience in technical analysis at securities firms and investment funds are highly valued
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong presentation skills
