Macro & Market Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Macro & Market Analyst to join our dynamic team at Thien Viet Securities (TVS). As a Macro & Market Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research and analysis on the Vietnam and global economy and stock market. Your role will involve monitoring and updating major changes in Vietnam and global economy and stock market and providing recommendations on the overview and outlook of Vietnam’s economy and stock market to our clients. 

Responsibilities:

• Macro analysis:
  • Research on the Vietnam and global economy, the monetary policies of major Central Banks in the world and their impacts on Vietnam’s economy
  • Conduct the periodic macro reports (monthly, quarterly and annually), periodic strategic reports (quarterly & annually) and event reports (if needed)
  • Monitor major macro factors and analyze their impact on the business environment and stock market
  • Conduct presentations to clients, interviews and commentary (if needed)
• Market analysis:
  • Research and analyze the stock market movement, cash flow, ETFs, sectors and analyze on the short/long term trends of the Vietnam and global stock markets
  • Conduct the periodic market reports (daily, monthly, quarterly and annually), periodic strategic reports (quarterly & annually) and event reports (if needed)
  • Conduct presentations to clients, interviews and market commentary (if needed)
• Take on additional responsibilities as requested by the Head of Research

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in finance, investments, and stock market-related profession
• Graduated from a college with a degree specializing in finance, banking, economics, investments, or the stock market
• Candidates with experience working abroad and with international companies and those with an excellent command of English will be prioritized
• Candidates with CFA qualifications are highly valued
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong presentation skill
